SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Nero. AD 54-68. Æ As (30mm, 15.42 g, 12h). C. Cestius Gallus, legatus Syriae. Dated year 115 of the Caesarean Era (AD 66/7). Laureate head right; lituus to right / ЄΠI •/ΓAIOY K/ЄCTIOY Λ/NTIOXЄ/ЄT ЄIP in five lines within wreath within pelleted border. McAlee 292; RPC I 4303 corr. (legends). VF, dark green to black patina with some reddish earthen highlights/deposits, a few light scratches. Extremely rare, only one specimen in CoinArchives.
